American Civil Liberties Union
- For nearly 100 years, the ACLU has been, working in courts, legislatures, and communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties that the Constitution and the laws of the United States guarantee everyone in this country.

- A US-based nonprofit environmental advocacy group known for its work on global warming, ecosystem restoration, oceans, and human health, and advocates using sound science, economics and law to find environmental solutions that work.

Human Rights Campaign
- An American LGBTQ advocacy group. It is the largest LGBTQ political lobbying organization within the United States which focuses on protecting and expanding rights for LGBTQ individuals, including advocating for same-sex marriage, anti-discrimination and hate crimes legislation, and HIV/AIDS advocacy.

- The BBC World Service is an international broadcaster owned and operated by the BBC. It is the world's largest external broadcaster in terms of reception area, language selection and audience reach. The World Service states that its aim is to be "the world's best-known and most-respected voice in international broadcasting",[18] while retaining a "balanced British view" of international developments.

- The news division of PBS and an American daily evening television news program broadcast on over 350 PBS member stations since October 20, 1975. The program has a more deliberate pace than the news broadcasts of the commercial networks it competes against, allowing for deeper detail in its story packages and feature segments.
